submitted by Alexander P. - |Recommended: YesAn excellent choice for UW Madison students — The Regent has everything you need full size kitchen appliances, full height mirror closets, high speed internet, a doughnut shop on the first floor, unlimited free use of the laundry machines, a fitness center, and enough sound-proofing to make even a Camp Randall touchdown seem quiet. To me, however, the biggest boon of this location is the front desk staff. Everyone at the front desk is incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. If you have a problem in your apartment, it's better to ask someone about it on the first floor rather than filing a report online. The desk also has very long hours every day. Unless you're pulling an all-nighter for that big essay, you'll probably see someone manning the desk. It's fantastic. Sure, you could spend 500 extra each month to stay at The Lux , but why bother I'm not trying to say that The Regent is good enough , because it's so much better than that. It's excellent.
